Sikaflex Now Starring on TV

In a first for Sika Australia, advertisements for Sikaflex PRO, Multipurpose Sealant and Sikaflex 11FC, Adhesive / Sealant were shown on national TV from May until July. Sika advertised in the mornings on the top rating “Sunrise”, which was seen by tradesmen before they headed off to work, as well as on prime time shows, including “Beyond Tomorrow” and “The Sunday Night Movie”.


The ads showed that Sika products, such as sealants, epoxy flooring and concrete admixtures were used in the recent additions to the M.C.G. and that the same world class technology is now available to tradesmen and DIYer’s. They are designed to get across the key messages of Sika’s Distribution business – “Know How from Worksite to Shelf” and “Sika – for all Important Projects – Large or Small”.  The new userfriendly packaging for Sikaflex 11FC and Sikaflex PRO, which will appear in the market very soon, was also shownfor the first time. The packaging now features clear colour differentiation between the two products and on the front features some of the materials that they can be used on, as well as their key attributes, including excellent adhesion, high flexibility, indoor and outdoor use, sandable and paintable and drinking water safe.   

The huge advertising investment showed that Sika is committed to building brand awareness amongst tradesmen and DIYer’s who may have been unfamiliar with Sika.

Judging by the many favourable comments, the ads were well received by the many customers who saw them. This encourages us to make further significant advertising investments to build brand awareness and make Sika a household name - so watch out for further Sika advertising!
